Obituary of Iluminada Albano

Iluminada Albano, age 93, of Haledon died Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at home in Haledon. Iluminada was born May 15, 1922 in Samar, Philippines . She is the daughter of the late Julian and the late Manuela (Austria) Santos. She came to the United States in 1977 and settled in Paterson, NJ before moving to Haledon in 1994. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church in Prospect Park,. NJ. She is survived by three daughters: Marisol Ramirez of Haledon, NJ, Fides Albano of Haledon, NJ, Aileen Albano of Haledon, NJ and four sons: Piciano Albano, Jr. of Dallas, TX, Tito Carlos Albano of San Francisco, CA, Norman Albano of Wayne, NJ , Loris Albano of Haledon and Gary Perez of the Philippines. She is also survived by her sister; Juliana Perez and her brother: Mabini Santos of Long Beach, CA, and twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Piciano Albano. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, July 20 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Visiting hours will be Saturday, July 18 from 2-6 PM and Sunday, July 19 from 2-6 PM.
