Obituary of Mildred Maslanek

Mildred Maslanek, age 94, of Wayne died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Llanfair House of Wayne, NJ. Mildred was born February 23, 1921. She is the daughter of the late Sergei and the late Maria Suhaka. She lived in Haledon, NJ most of her life . She was employed by Nabisco Foods, Fair Lawn, NJ as a Packer. She was very involved in the Democratic Club of Haledon and worked tirelessly for the Paterson Pet Adoption taking care of homeless cats and dogs. She is survived by two sons: Michael Maslanek and Paul Maslanek , her two daughters-in-law Mieke Maslanek and Rita Maslanek and her nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren . She was predeceased by her husband Stephen Maslanek and her sisters, Anita Tenk, Dorothy Padula and Helen and her brothers, Walter and Albert Suhaka . A graveside service will be held 10:30 am on Monday, November 16 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ.
