John was a good friend to so many people. He will be missed.
I interned at Neers Drug Store and watched John as he helped and really cared for all the people, especially the poor and elderly. He was a "doctor" to so many and he loved helping. .He was devoted to his sister and mother.
John and I were close friends through the pharmacy years and we stayed in touch after I furthered my education and left the area. He was kind and very helpful to my parents who remained in the area.
Whenever I got back to New Jersey, it was a pleasure and privilege to visit him at Sicomac Pharmacy, his home in North Haledon or at my parents home.I will never forget John. I am so sad to hear about his passing.
