Obituary of Antonio Bucci

Antonio Bucci, age 89, of Paterson died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Llanfair House in Wayne, NJ. Antonio was born September 28, 1926 in Province of L'Aquila, Sulmona, Abruzzo, Italy . He is the son of the late Nicola and the late Francesca (Marinuccia) Bucci. He was employed by DiStefano Iron Works in Paterson as a Iron Worker for thirty three years and retired in 1988. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church in Paterson and a member of the Roma Sports Club where he was one of the club's first presidents. He is survived by his wife: Carmelina (DiStefano) Bucci , his daughter: Mila Bucci of Paterson, NJ and his son: Nick Bucci and his wife Donna of Wayne, NJ. He is also survived by his three granddaughters, Nicole, Daniella and Andrea Bucci. He was predeceased by his brother, Dominico Bucci, and his sister, Giuseppina Paololli. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 27 at Our Lady Of Pompeii R.C. Church, 70 Murray Avenue, Paterson, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, April 26 from 4 - 8 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
