Marianne Galletta, 69, of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, passed away on December 25, 2023. She was born on November 15, 1954, in Paterson, New Jersey. Marianne, known fondly as "Zizzi or Mar Mar" was a beloved member of her community.

Marianne was a force to be reckoned with, known for her quick wit and sassy personality. She had a passion for the New York Yankees and never missed a game. She would often say, "Good things come in small packages, and so does poison” reminding us all of her feisty spirit. Marianne adored her nieces and nephews, always going above and beyond to make them feel loved. Her birthday phone calls were cherished by all.

In her free time, Marianne enjoyed playing bingo and spending her summers in Sea Isle City. These were moments of pure joy for her, and she treasured every minute spent by the shore.

Marianne is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Brenda Galletta, and her nieces and nephews: Amanda Galletta, Jennifer Houseward, Craig Galletta and his wife Amanda Dejourdan, Andrew Houseward, Jordan Galletta and his wife Ashley Galletta, and their sons Luca and Nico. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Galletta, her mother, Lena Galletta, and her sister, Diana Houseward. Marianne's late sister's husband, Kenneth Houseward, also mourns her passing.

Throughout her career, Marianne dedicated over 20 years to New York Life, leaving an indelible mark on the company and her colleagues.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, located at 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, from 4-8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Friday at 10 AM at St. Gerard's Church, 501 West Broadway, Paterson, NJ.
