Josephine Speer, age 99 Whiting died Friday, November 8, 2013 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, NJ. Josephine was born September 8, 1914 in Passaic, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Victor and the late Jennie (Pollard) Abbate.
She was a homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. George's R.C. Church in Paterson and a member of the Columbiettes.
She is survived by one son: Russell Speer, Jr. of Toms River, NJ, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Russell Speer.
The Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 13 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, , Paterson, NJ. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Paterson, NJ.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, November 12 from 3 - 5 pm..
