Mary C. Novak (nee Chrisbacher) age 90, of Hawthorne, NJ died Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Novak was born July 14, 1918 in Hawthorne, NJ the daughter of the late Natzel and the late Barbara (Fent) Chrisbacher. She was employed by NJ Bell as a Telephone Operator for 35 years and retired in 1981. She was a parishioner of St. Pauls R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJ and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Novak, her sisters; Ann Bollinger and Elizabeth Chrisbacher and her brothers; Frank, Theodore, George and Albert Chrisbacher. She is survived by one daughter: Barbara Oliver and her husband Richard of Hawthorne, NJ and her grandson David Anthony Oliver.There will be a graveside service on Friday at 10 AM at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
