Obituary of Charles T. Savage

Charles T. Savage, age 80, of Cedar Grove died Sunday, July 19, 2009.
Mr. Savage was born December 12, 1928 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Charles and the late Anna (McFarland) Savage. He lived in Hawthorne, NJ and Longwood, FL before moving to Cedar Grove in 1999.
He served in the Army from 1946 to 1951 during World War II & Korean Conflict and attained the rank of Corporal.
He retired from Continental Can, Paterson, NJ as a Press Foreman in 1981 where he worked for 32 years.
He is survived by his lifelong companion and friend Jeanne Mastronardi, his sister: Anna Esa of Little Falls, NJ and two brothers: Joseph Savage of Wayne, NJ and Michael Savage of Nutley, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces & grand nephews. He was known as "Uncle Chuckie" to all.
He was predeceased by his sister, Lorraine Manegold and his brothers: William and John Savage
Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 at The Cathedral Of St. John The Baptist, Paterson where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Msgr. Mark Giordani.
Burial will be in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
