Obituary of Pellegrino Mariconda

Pelligrino "Bill" Mariconda, age 74, of Paterson, NJ died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Hospice Of New Jersey, .Mr. Mariconda was born January 20, 1935 in Avellino, Italy the son of the late Mariano and the late Roslie (Carpentieri) Mariconda. He came to the United States in 1957 and settled in Paterson. He worked at Malan Dye & Finishing, Paterson, NJ for 25 years and retired in 1994.He was a member of St. Gerard's R.C. Church, Club Roma and the Avellino Club all in Paterson, NJ. He was predeceased by his wife Mafalda (Iannelli) Mariconda. He is survived by one daughter: Rose Robina and her husband Frank of Pompton Lakes, NJ and two sons: Mario Mariconda of North Haledon, NJ and Thomas Mariconda and his wife Mary of Pompton Lakes, NJ, his grandchildren; Frankie Robina and his wife Jessica, Rachel Robina, Stephen Mariconda, Christina Mariconda and Jessica Mariconda.Visiting hours will be Monday from 6-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, Inc., 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon.Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
