Obituary of Mario Mariconda

Mario Mariconda, age 50, of North Haledon died Saturday, September 5, 2009 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne, NJ. Mr. Mariconda was born December 16, 1958 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Pellegrino and the late Mafalda (Iannelli) Mariconda. He lived most of his life in Paterson before moving to North Haledon 13 years ago. He was an assembler at Black Millwork, Allendale, NJ for the past 20 years and had previously been employed at Dinsey World in Orlando, FL. Mr. Mariconda was a member of Passaic Valley Elks Lodge No, 2111, Totowa, NJ and Knights of Columbus Council No. 240, Paterson, NJ. He is survived by one son: Stephen Mariconda of Saint Cloud, FL, his sister: Rose Robina and her husband Frank of Pompton Lakes, NJ, a brother: Thomas Mariconda and his wife Mary of Pompton Lakes, NJ, a nephew, Frankie Robina and his wife Jessica, and his nieces; Rachel Robina, Christina Mariconda and Jessica Mariconda. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
