Obituary of William J. Copelton

William J. Copelton, age 87, of Prospect Park died Sunday, September 13, 2009.Mr. Copelton was born March 26, 1922 in Prospect Park, NJ the son of the late William H. and the late Ann (Van Dyke) Copelton. He served in the Army during World War II .He retired from Morrison Machine Company, Paterson, NJ in 1982 where he worked as a Machine Operator for 43 years.Mr. Copelton was a member of Passaic County Bowling Hall of FameHe is survived by his wife: Hilda (Kerberg) Copelton, a daughter: Gloria Snyder of Prospect Park, NJ, a son William D. Copelton of Clayton, NC, a sister Grace Marinuk of Fair Lawn, NJ, and a brother: Robert Copelton of Totowa, NJ. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Jack and sisters, Diana, Violet and Ann. Services and cremation were private.
