Obituary of Rose Cappello Zawonski

Rose Cappello Zawonski, age 87, of New Milford died Sunday, November 1, 2009.Mrs. Zawonski was born November 28, 1921 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Josephine (Iurato) Cappello. She lived in North Haledon, NJ and Wayne, NJ before moving to New Milford in 1980. She worked at Bloomingdales in Hackensack, NJ for 15 years and retired in1998.She is survived by one son: Mitchell Zawonski of Pompton Plains, NJ, her brother; Joseph Cappello of Glen Rock, NJ and her sisters; Jennie Falconeri of Fair Lawn, NJ and Josephine DeHaas of Florida. She is also survived by three grandchildren and one great grandson. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 - 8 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:15 at St. Catharines R.C. Church, Glen Rock where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Cremation, private.
