Obituary of Gary A. Koehler

Gary A. Koehler, age 53, of Oak Ridge died Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Mr. Koehler was born June 15, 1956 in Paterson, NJ the son of Richard and Carolee (Cuperfrian) Koehler. He lived in Haledon, NJ most of his life. He served in the Navy. He was employed by Foodtown / Nicholas Markets, North Haledon, NJ as a Deli Manager for 17 years. Mr. Koehler was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Haledon, NJ He is survived by his parents; Richard and Carolee (Cuperfrian) Koehler of Newbern, NC., his two sisters: Kim Heisler and her husband Joseph of Oak Ridge, NJ and Amy Looney and her husband Richard of Wall, NJ and one brother: Stephen Koehler and his wife Jasmeen of Kunkletown, PA. He is also survived by his companion, Geri Cerza; his nieces, Dawn and Madeline; his nephews; Brian, Christopher, Sean and Anderson and a grand niece; Samantha. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 2-5 pm at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday at 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. . In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436.
