Obituary of Rosetta C Fontanella

Rosetta C Fontanella (nee Costa) , age 95, of Totowa died Monday, February 1, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center of Paterson, NJ. Rosetta was born October 27, 1914 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Rosalino and the late Emilio (Trocca) Costa. marr She lived in Haledon, NJ for 70 years before moving to Totowa 10 years ago. She loved to travel and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe. She was a 1936 graduate of Paterson General Hospital School of Nursing. She was a chatrter member and the past president of the Haldon P.A.L., a member of the Board of Elections, Public Health Nurse, and a Girl Scout Nurse all in Haledon. She was Registered Nurse and worked at Paterson General Hospital. She also was a private duty nurse . She was predceased by her husband of 56 years; Frederick Fontanella and her sisterrs Inez Ramella and Blanche. She is survived by two daughters: Beverly Jones of San Francisco, Barbara Lorusso of Totowa, NJ; ; she also has six grandchildren, Andrea Lorusso Kalokitis, Jonathan Lorusso, Robert Lorusso, Catherine Kermond, Suzanne Elgort and Michelle Jones and her great grand children;Jeremy Kalokitis, Frankie Kalokitis, Lillaian Rose Kalokitis and Noah Kermond. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 3 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa on Thursday, February 4 . In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boro of Totowa First Aid Squad, P.O.
