Obituary of Vincent Coletta

Vincent Coletta, age 79, of Prospect Park died Friday, March 5, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center of Paterson, NJ. Vincent was born June 15, 1930 in Prospect Park, NJ. He is the son of the late Thomas and the late Maria (Marcotullio) Coletta.
He was employed at Weigers Trailers, Inc., Clifton, NJ as a Welder for 25 years and retired in 1995. He also worked at the Foodtown in Paterson and Haledon for many years.
He was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park and served in the National Guard in the 50th Armored Division, and was a member of U.C.I.F Local 1262.
He is survived by his wife: Dolores (Renick) Coletta , one daughter: Diane Langford and her husband Jerry of Prospect Park, NJ and two sons: Bryan Coletta and his wife Karen of Haledon, NJ and David Coletta and his wife Michele of Chambersburg, PA, a brother: Rev. Thomas Coletta of Paterson, NJ; and his grandchildren; Christine, Michael, Kevin, Andrew, Brooke and Alexis Coletta, Laura and Anna Langford and Jeremy Frey. He is also survived by his great granddaughters; Sadie McDonald and Kayla Coletta. He was predceased by his sister Helen DeMarco.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 9 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
Visiting hours will be Monday, March 8 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
