Obituary of James McDonald

James McDonald, 79, of Glen Rock, NJ passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018. 

He was born in North Bergen, NJ and lived in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ before moving to Glen Rock in 2001. 

He was a parishioner of St. Catharine R.C. Church in Glen Rock and a 60 year member of I.A.T.S.E. Local No. 1 in New York City.  He served in the United States Army.  He was employed as a stage hand for 38 years and worked at several venues and retired from Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY in 1996.

Beloved husband of Carol McDonald (nee Cecchini).  Devoted father of Laurie McDonald of North Haledon, NJ, Kathy Poliseo of South Hampton, PA and James McDonald of South Brunswick, NJ.  Dear brother of Patricia Walters and Robert McDonald.  Loving grandfather of Amanda McDonald and Jessica and Carolyn Poliseo. 

Funeral Service at DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ on Sunday at 7 PM.  Visiting on Sunday from 3-7 PM.  Cremation is private.  In lieu of flowers, plesae make donations to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation, 1001 E 101 Terrace, Suite 220, Kansas City, MO 64131.
