Obituary of Vincent Waraske

Vincent Waraske, age 74, of Prospect Park, NJ died Friday, May 28, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center of Paterson, NJ. Vincent was born October 31, 1935 in Paterson, NJ. He is the son of the late Alex and the late Anna (Auchus) Waraske. He served in the Navy during the Korean war. He was a graduate of Paterson State Teachers College in Wayne, NJ. He was employed by the Paterson Board Of Education as a teacher and retired in 1997. He taught history at School No. 10 and School No. 18 both in Paterson. He was a parishioner of St. Casimir's R.C. Church in Paterson, a member of New Jersey Education Association, the Retired Teachers Association of NJ and served the City of Paterson as it's Historian. He is survived by his aunt, Theresa Auchus and his cousins; Dr. Alex Auchus and Dr. Richard Auchus. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Wednesday, June 2 at St. Casimir's R.C. Church, , Paterson, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, June 1 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. .
