Obituary of Frank Petkus

Frank Petkus, age 90, of Lodi, NJ died Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Hackensack Hospice of Hackensack, NJ. Frank was born August 18, 1919 in Enfield, CT. He is the son of the late George and the late Dorothy (Petrikas) Petkus. He lived in Haledon, NJ for many years before moving to Lodi in 2001. He worked at Heisler Machine Co., Fairfield, NJ as a Machinist and retired in 1982. Previously he was worked at van Vlaanderen Machine Co. in Paterson for 20 years. He was a member of Passaic County Golf Course, Wayne, NJ. He is survived by one daughter: Dorothy Eardley of Whiting, NJ, his companion; Nora Petkus (Flynn) his granddaughters, Donna Hilcken and Dawn Fogg and 2 great granddaughters; Delilah and Philecia. He was predeceased by his daughter, Frances Davenport. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, June 3 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, June 2 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. .
