Obituary of Nicholas A. Costagliola

Nicholas A. Costagliola, age 90, of North Haledon died Friday, June 4, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Nicholas was born January 1, 1920 in New York, NY. He is the son of the late Joachim and the late Frances (Campanella) Costagliola. He was the owner of J. Costagliola Tobacconist and Confectioners in Paterson. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church and St. Michael's R.C. Church both in Paterson and St. Paul's R.C. Church in Prospect Park, NJ. He is survived by his wife: Gelsomina (Luciano) Costagliola , three daughters: Marlene Costagliola of Hackensack, NJ, Carol Stolarz and her husband Edward M. of Wayne, NJ and Lois Costagliola and her husband Robert Long of Wayne, NJ, a son: Nicholas J. Costagliola of Riverside, CA; and his four grandchildren; Lauren Stolarz, Edward Stolarz, Stephanie Anne Long and Jessica Marie Long. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law; Carmela Noorigian and Dora Luciano and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters; Mary Costaglila, Diane Costagliola Rose DiBernardo, and Agnes Costagliola and his brothers; Anthony Costagliola and Joseph Costagliola. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, June 7 at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, , Paterson, NJ.Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Calling hours will be Sunday, June 6 from 3-8 pm at DeLuccia - Lozito l Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
