Obituary of Edith Vatrano

Edith Vatrano, age 79, of Haledon died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital of Wayne, NJ. Edith was born October 26, 1931 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Arthur Emil and the late Anna Helena (Kober) Geier. She retired from Crazy Horse in Paterson in 1989 where she worked as a Packer. She previously worked at Haband in Prospect Park, NJ. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Paterson and a member of the St. Mary's Roasarians. She is survived by one daughter: Deborah Ann Conroy and her husband Dennis of Lyndhurst, NJ and one son: Paul Alan Vatrano and his wife Tina of Lincoln Park, NJ, her sisters: Edna Geier of Woodland Park, NJ and Carol Sauter of Washington and her brother; Arthur Geier of New Berlin, NY. She also has four grandchildren; Kristen and Kimberly Conroy, Paul Vatrano and Jessica Gillen. She was predeceased by her husband Salvatore, a sister, Anne Perkins (2002) and a brother, William Geier (2010). A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Monday, November 8 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Sunday, November 7 from 3-5 PM. Memorial gifts to St. Mary's R.C. Church, 410 Union Avenue, Paterson, NJ would be appreciated. .
