Obituary of Catherine M. DeFranco

Catherine M. DeFranco, age 81 of Wayne died Thursday, December 9, 2010. Catherine was born July 23, 1929 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Catherine (Kelly) Sinborn. She was a catalog salesperson for Sears Roebuck & Company in Wayne for 25 years and retired in1971. She is survived by four daughters: Catherine Otero and her husband Juan of Lincoln Park, NJ, Karen DeFranco of Hackensack, NJ, Donna Krstec and her husband Victor of Phoenix, AZ and Toni Verga and her husband Bob of Hardyston, NJ and her son: Carmen DeFranco of Phoenix, AZ; She is also survived by her sister; Margaret Parish of Ringwood, NJ, her grandchildren; Tina Figueroa, Amanda Krstec, Jillian Krstec, Nicole Verga and Dylan Verga and her great granddaughters; Vanessa and Taylor Figueroa. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony DeFranco in 1983(Detective Sergeant with the Paterson Police Department). A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 14 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 216 Comly Road, Lincoln Park, NJ with Msg. Robert Carroll officiating. Please meet at the church. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Monday, December 13 from 4 - 8 PM.
