Rudy Chavez departed this life on Friday, May 29, 2020 at the age of 65 in Chilton Memorial Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ.

Rudy was survived by her husband Marco Coronel, her two children, Jerry Chavez and Jennifer Ehala,and her sister, Frida Tarco, and her three brothers Virgilio, Juvenal, and Ricardo Tarco, and many nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones. She is preceded by her mother and father, Ricardo Tarco Pérez and Natividad Farfán Zuzunaga

Rudy Chavez was born on August 7, 1954 in Lima, Peru to Natividad Farfán Zuzunaga and Ricardo Tarco Pérez, both of Peru. She was a self-employed immigration counselor in Haledon, NJ and resided atPompton Lakes, NJ. She came to the United States when she was a young woman to start a new chapter in her life. It was in the United States where she met her husband Marco Coronel. The two met through mutual friends at the church. It was then that the two started to develop a love for each other that would last until the end of time. During this union, the two ran their small business, United Services Corp. in Haledon NJ, and used her skills inimmigration law counseling and accounting to help others to become naturalized citizens of the United States.

Rudy was a devoted mother, wife, and devout Catholic. She enjoyed attending weekly services at St. Stephen’s Church in Paterson, NJ singing in the choir alongside her husband Marco and organized many church events & functions for charity and celebrations.
