I met Bob at the Preakness Valley Golf Course a few weeks ago and over that time I was fortunate enough to play four rounds of golf with him.
Bob not only was an excellent golfer, but he was funny, engaging and always greeted you with a wide smile on his face.
Bob, my two friends and I played at Preakness Valley on Thursday, July 2nd. On one particular hole, I accidentally drove away in Bob’s golf cart. A few moments later and after Bob realized that I ‘stole’ his golf cart, I see him racing after me in my golf cart with a huge grin, shouting and laughing at my absent mindedness. The four of us couldn’t stop joking about the ‘stolen’ golf cart incident or control our laughter for the rest of the round. I/we will miss our friend and golf partner.
I would like to extend my sincerest and most heartfelt condolences to Bob’s family and friends.
