Obituary of Augustus A. Marino

Augustus "Augie" A. Marino, 89, of Haledon, NJ passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021.  He was born in College Point, NY and lived in Northvale, NJ before moving to Haledon in 1984.  He was a self employed house painter.  He served in the United States Army.  He was a member of St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church in Paterson, NJ, American Legion  Post No. 366 in Northvale, The VFW Post  No. 162 in Northvale and the Italian American Club in Northvale. He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.  Beloved husband of Carol A. Marino (nee Barnickle).  Dear brother of the late Teresa Imbrogno, Elvira Lobosco, James Marino and John Marino.  He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Marilyn DeFranco and her husband Mario, Theresa Barnickle, Alva Marino and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Funeral Mass on Tuesday at St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church, 502 West Broadway, Paterson, NJ at 10 AM.  Interment is private.  Arrangements by DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, Haledon, NJ.
