Obituary of Anastasia Zelizo

Anastasia Zelizo (nee Samolenko), 95, of Wayne, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021.  She was born in Pristromi, Belrus, Ukraine and came to the United States in 1953 and settled in Paterson, NJ and lived in West Caldwell, NJ since 1969 before moving to Wayne in 2021. She was an Assembly Line Worker at Howmet Aeornautical in Dover.  She was a parishioner of St. Michael's Russian Orthodox Church in Wayne, NJ and was a member of the church's Sisterhood.  Beloved wife of the late Wassily Zelizo.  Devoted mother of Alexander Zelizo and his wife Darlene of Fair Lawn, NJ, Victor Zelizo and his wife Vicky of Byram Township, NJ and Lydia Bischof and her husband Herbert of Wayne, NJ.  Loving grandmother of  Julianne Waldo, Michael Zelizo, Vincent Zelizo, Jessica Occhipinti, Jennifer Maguire, Amy Font and the late Brian Louis Zelizo.  She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.  Funeral Service on Wednesday at St. Michael's Russian Orthodox Church, 171 Colfax Road, Wayne, NJ at 10 AM.  Panichida on Tuesday at 4 PM at the Church.  Interrment, Novo DiVeevo Russian Convent Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
