Obituary of Claire Pagano
Claire Pagano (nee Davidson), 81, of Wayne, NJ passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. She was born and raised in the City of Paterson. . She worked at the Division of Recreation for the City of Paterson for over 40 years and after her retirement she worked at Passaic County Golf Course in Wayne for 15 years and also worked for Congressman William Pascrell, Jr. as a Record Keeper. She has touched many lives. She was a dedicated mother and a proud grandmother. She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church in Paterson where she was a member of its Prayer Group. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. Everyone knew her as grandma Claire and will be sorely missed at their games. She enjoyed playing cards and going to the movies and dinner with her friends. She was especially proud of her son Chris and all of his career accomplishments. She also was happy to watch her son, Guy, referee college basketball games. She has a large circle of friends and loved them all dearly. After being diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer of the liver in February of 2021 she surpassed the 3 month life expectancy and was a fighter to the end. Beloved wife of the late Guy Pagano. Devoted mother of Michele Dockray and her husband Ryan of North Haledon, NJ, Christopher Pagano of North Haledon and Guy Pagano of Waldwick, NJ. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Jr. and Mason Dockray, Gregory Pagano and Stephanie Sheridan. Cherished great grandmother of Olivia Sheridan. Dear sister of the late James Davidson and his wife Rachel. She is also survived by her nephew James Davidson and his wife June. Funeral Mass at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, 174 Ramsey Street, Paterson, NJ on Thursday at 10:15 AM. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at St.Bonaventure R.C. Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Bonaventure R.C. Church 174 Ramsey Street, Paterson, NJ.
