Obituary of Edward La Cardo

Edward La Cardo, age 68, of Newton died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at home in Newton. Edward was born May 18, 1943 in Paterson, NJ. He is the son of the late Michael and the late Mary (Canning) Lupardo. He lived in Hawthorne, NJ for many years before moving to Newton in 2001. Before his retirement he was employed by as an exterminator. He is survived by his daughter: Dot Korybski of Newton, NJ and his son: Phillip La Cardo of West Milford, NJ; his sisters: Betty Luprado, Marge Sevick De Santo of Totowa, NJ, Theresa De Santo of Totowa, NJ and Kathy Martinez of Prospect Park, NJ and three brothers: John Luprado of Australia , Peter De Santo of Hawthorne, NJ and Joseph De Santo of Fair Lawn, NJ; he also is survived by his grandchildren. Anthony and Samantha Korybski and Edward and Harley La Cardo and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Francis De Santo and step father Peter De Santo. The funeral service will be held 8:30 pm on Wednesday evening, October 19 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Cremation will be private . Visiting hours will be Wednesday, October 19 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
