Obituary of Jane P. Scillieri

Jane P. Scillieri (nee Dwyer), 99, of Paterson, NJ passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 in Allendale, NJ.  She was a lifelong resident of Paterson and a proud graduate of St. Joseph's Elementary and High School.  She and her late husband, Stephen J. Scillieri, were the founders of Scillieri Funeral Home in Paterson for over 50 years.  During their life together they spent numerous summers at their shore home in Surf City, Long Beach Island always entertaining family and friends and spending many winters as "Snowbirds" in South Florida.  Jane had been a former parishioner of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Paterson and most recently a parishioner of The Church of Saint Anne, Fair Lawn, NJ.  She was predeceased by her husband, Steve (2006), her son, Stephen (2014) and her grandson, Sean (2021).  Jane is survived by her daughter, Jo Ellen Cox, her 3 grandsons, Chris Compitello and his wife Laraine, Matthew Compitello and his wife Amye and Stephen "TJ" Scillieri and wife Melissa.  She also is survived by 3 great grandsons; Matthew and Christian Compitello and Ryan Cooper.  Funeral Liturgy on Monday at 10 AM at The Church of Saint Anne, 15-05 Saint Anne Street, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Visiting at DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ on Sunday from 2-6 PM.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
