Obituary of Elvira Cioffi

Elvira "Vera" Cioffi (nee Pizzarelli), 90, of Haledon, NJ, passed away on Wednesday July 6, 2022. She was born in Paterson and lived in Haledon since 1960. She started her teaching career in 1953 at the Haledon Board of Education and retired in 2003. She was on the Paterson State Teachers College Fencing Team and was a parishioner of St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church.  She loved cooking and baking, but most of all she loved her family.

 Elvira is the dear wife of the late Thomas Cioffi. Loving mother of Thomas Cioffi and his wife Ivania, John Cioffi and his wife Regina, and Andrew Cioffi. Grandmother of Michele Stetz, and Thomas Cioffi. Great-grandmother of Blaise Stetz and Xavier Stetz.

Funeral from DeLuccia Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ on Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy at St Gerard Majella R.C. Church, 501 W Broadway Paterson at 10 AM. Visiting on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
