Obituary of Luz C. Sanchez Garcia

Luz Sanchez Garcia, age 73 of Paterson died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at home. Luz was born February 3, 1938 in Manati, Puerto Rico. She is the daughter of the late Emilio and the late Dominga (Garcia) Sanchez. She was employed by Universal Manufacturing, Paterson, NJ in the shipping department , at Marcal Paper Products in Elmwood Park, NJ and also was a hairdresser. She is survived by her daughter: Elba Cortes Alabayrak of Paterson, NJ and one son: William Cortes Sanchez of Manati, PR; her grandchildren; Jesus Carillo, Jr;, Hector Nieves, William Cortes. III, Giselle Cortes, Alesandra Cortes and Xavier Cortes. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Anthony, Timothy, Briana and Genesis, her sisters: Elisa Sanchez Garcia, Elsie Garcia Sanchez, Gina Sanchez Garcia, Gladys Sanchez Garcia, Miriam Sanchez Garcia, Nestor Sanchez Garcia and a brother: Hector Sanchez Garcia, her husband; Geraldo Dejesus and her step children; Sonia, Jerry and Lorraine. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, November 19 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ. Buial will be in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery.. Visiting hours will be Friday, November 18 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
