Obituary of Aurelio Bastante

Aurelio Bastante, age 80, of Lincoln Park died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. Aurelio was born May 6, 1933 in Solarino, Sicily, Italy. He is the son of the late Carmelo and the late Giuseppina (Bonfiglio) Bastante. He came to the United States in 1949 and settled in Paterson, NJ and for most of his life lived in Woodland Park, NJ and for the past 14 years lived in Lincoln Park and Venice, FL.
He retired from Ford Motor Company, Mahwah, NJ in 1995 where he was employed for 30 years as a Repair Man.
He is survived by his wife: Rita (Dentino) Bastante , his two daughters: Josephine Coiro and her husband Vincent of Lincoln Park, NJ, Lisa Morse and her husband John of Wayne, NJ and his son: Carmen Bastante and his wife Angela of Totowa, NJ; He is survived by his sisters; Frances Scorpo of Totowa,NJ and Angela Musick of Venice, FL and his brother: Joe Bastante of Woodland Park, NJ. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Michael Bastante, Vincent Coiro, Dominique Coiro, Ashley Morse and Nicole Morse.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Sal Bastante and Paul Bastante and his sister, Salvatrice Moribito.
The funeral will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, May 16 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 216 Comly Road, Lincoln Park, NJ with Father Philip LeBeau officiating. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Paterson, NJ.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, May 15 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
