Obituary of Carmine Pescatore

Carmine Pescatore, Jr., age 75, of Wayne died Monday, January 2, 2012 at home in Wayne. Carmine was born May 1, 1936 in Jersey City, NJ. He is the son of the late Carmine and the late Caterina (Moschetta) Pescatore.
He was self-employed and the owner, along with his brother, of Spartan Furniture, West New York, NJ for over 50 years and retired in 2000.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Ann (Branda) Pescatore , two daughters: Linda Johansson and her husband James and Susan Correnti and her husband John and two sons: John Pescatore and Joseph Pescatore. He is also survived by his brother Rocco Pescatore , his grandchildren; Nicole Pescatore, Christine Pescatore, Marisa Pescatore, Johnny Pescatore, Christian Pescatore, Susan Powers. Michael Johansson, Kristen Johansson and Joseph Correnti and a great granddaughter; Ava Powers.
He was predeceased by his brothers: Alfred and John Pescatore and a sister Josephine Rehbein.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Friday, January 6 at Cathedral Basilica Of The Sacred Heart, Newark, NJ (Please meet at the church). Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, January 5 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
