Obituary of Antonio DeSimone

Antonio DeSimone, age 75 of North Haledon died Monday, May 20, 2013 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital in Wayne, NJ. Antonio was born January 1, 1938 in Montella, Italy. He is the son of the late Vincenzo and the late Beatrice (Barbero) DeSimone. He came to the United States in 1976 and settled in Haledon, NJ before moving to North Haledon in 1995. He retired from Manchester Regional High School as a Custodian in 2001. He was a parishioner of St. Gerard's R.C. Church in Paterson. He is survived by his wife: Gina (Fusco) DeSimone and his three daughters: Bea Acker and her husband Dan of North Haledon, NJ, Enza Ugrovics and her husband Joe of Hewitt, NJ and Susie DeSimone of North Haledon, NJ. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; Denise, Ginnette and Joey Hric and his sister Irma Peter and her husband Bernard of France. He was predeceased by his sister, Concetta DeSimone. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, May 23 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, , Paterson, NJ. Entombment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, May 22 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. .
