Obituary of Dorothy M. Graf

Dorothy M. Graf, age 88, of Wayne died Friday, June 22, 2012 at The Atrium At Wayne in Wayne, NJ. Dorothy was born May 7, 1924 in Harrisburg, PA and lived in Haledon, NJ most of her life before moving to Wayne. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Helen (Kusavage) Novack. She retired from AT&T, Wayne, NJ as a Telephone Operator in 1986 where she worked for 30 years. She was a parishioner of St. Gerard's R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She is survived by her two daughters: Lorraine Van Ry and her husband Mark of Riverdale, NJ and Susan Walters of Haledon, NJ, her grandchildren; David Walters, Michael Van Ry, Tiffany Medley and her husband Michael and Kelly Johnson. She is also survived by her great grandchildren; Olivia Medley and Austin Medley. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward F. Graf, a former Haledon Coucilman and Haledon School Board President, her brothers, Frank and Leonard Novack and a son-in-law Robert Walters. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 27 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church, , Paterson, NJ. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, June 26 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
