Obituary of Boris Kalutik

Boris Kalutik, age 75, of North Haledon died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Hospice Of New Jersey in Wayne, NJ. Boris was born March 15, 1937 in Poland. He is the son of the late Paul and the late Vera (Stasewski) Kalutik. He came to the United States in 1950 and settled in Paterson, NJ before moving to North Haledon in 1962.
He worked at Brogan Cadillac, Totowa, NJ for 40 years. He was in the Army Reserve with the 403rd Unit. He was a member of St. Michael's R.O. Cathedral in Paterson and the Haledon Rotary Club. He was a councilman in North Haledon from 1982 - 1986. He was an Exempt Member of the North Haledon Volunteer Fire Department Company No. 1 and a lifetime member of the NJ Fireman's Association. He also coached soccer for the North Haledon Recreation Department.
He loved his family, took great pride in his grandchildren and loved to fish and cook.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Barbara (Smith) Kalutik and his two daughters: Robin MIssonellie and her late husband Mark of North Haledon and Kim Fiorenzo and her husband Phil of North Haledon. He is also survived by his four grandchildren. Phillip Fiorenzo, Samantha Fiorenzo, Katelyn Missonellie and Allison Missonellie.
He was predeceased by his brother, Jaroslaw Kalutik.
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Monday, July 2 at Russian Orthodox Convent Novo Diveevo, 100 Smith Road, Spring Valley, NY. Burial will be in Novo Diveevo Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, July 1 from 4 - 8 PM.
