Obituary of Margaret Harrison

Margaret Harrison, age 102, of Sarasota, FL died Monday, December 23, 2013 at home in Sarasota. Margaret was born October 18, 1911 in Singac, NJ. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Ellen (Barry) Purdy. She lived in Paterson, NJ most of her life before moving to Sarasota in 1993. She was a switchboard operator at Hope Dell, Wayne, NJ for 20 years and retired in 1973. She was a former parishioner of St. Gerard's R.C. in Paterson, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Harrison, Sr. She is survived by her son: Frank Harrison, Jr. and his wife Valerie of Sarasota, FL, her grandchildren; Frank Harrison, III, Hallie Harrison, Courtney Lewandrowski and her great grandchildren; Adam Harrison and Paige Payton Lewandrowski. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, December 28 at St. Gerard's R.C. Church in Paterson, NJ with Monsignor Mark Giordani officiating. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
