Obituary of Tamara Grechko

Tamara Grechko, age 91, of Wayne died Friday, May 24, 2013 at Hospice Of New Jersey in Wayne, NJ. Tamara was born March 21, 1922 in Yugoslavia. She is the daughter of the late Michael and the late Efrosinia Turaew. She came to the United States in 1952 and settled in Paterson, NJ and lived in Hawthorne, NJ before moving to Wayne. She was employed by Schmidd Laboratories, Little Falls, NJ as a Machine Operator. She was a member of St. Michael's R.O. Cathedral in Paterson. She is survived by daughter; Marie Sapsai of Landing, NJ, her brother: Victor Turaew of Albany, NY; her grandchildren; Michael Sapsai and Tatiana Smith and a great grandchild, Maksin Sapsai. She was predeceased by her husband Wassily Grechko and her son, Michael Grechko. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Novo DiVeevo Russian Orthodox Convent, 100 Smith Road, Spring Valley, NY. A Panachida (prayer service) will be held 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Novo DiVeevo Russian Orthodox Convent. Burial will be in Novo DiVeevo Cemetery, Spring Valley, NY.
