Obituary of June Berry

June Berry, age 81, of North Haledon, NJ died Saturday, July 19, 2014 at home. June was born June 18, 1933 in Midland Park, NJ . She is the daughter of the late John and the late Margaret (Benjamin) Vanderbush. She has lived in North Haledon most of her life. She was the Cafeteria Manager of Paterson Catholic High School until her retirement . She was a member of North Haledon P.T.A., Manchester Regional High School P.T.A., Past President of the North Haledon Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 Ladies Auxiliary, Past Past President of the Passaic County Firemen's Ladies' Auxiliary and a member of the New Jersey State Firemen's Ladies' Auxiliary Beloved wife of the late Gerald "Jerry" Berry.  Devoted mother of James Berry and his wife Joanne of North Haledon, Janice DeYoung and her husband Albert of Oakland, NJ, John Berry and his wife Dorothy of Franklin Lakes, NJ and Jane Berry of Wayne, NJ. Dear sister of John Vanderbush of Vernon, CT, Clara Monaco of Wyckoff, NJ and Mary Wilczynski of Montville, NJ.  Loving grandmother of Ashley DeYoung, Clayton Berry and his wife Mari, Craig Berry and his wife Kara, Jenifer Berry, Jillian Tuit and her husband Jake, Glenn Berry and James, Chris, and Daniel D'Amico.  Cherished great grandmother of Aaron, Benjamin and Nathan Berry.  The funeral will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, July 24 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, July 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
