Obituary of Anita Andelora

Anita Andelora, age 86, of Haledon died Friday, November 8, 2013 in Wayne. Anita was born September 23, 1927 in Passaic, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Rose (Furina) Tanzillo. She was a Cafeteria Worker at Manchester Regional High School for twenty-six years and retired in 1995. She was a member of the Haledon Seniors and a former parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park, NJ. She is survived by her husband: John Andelora, Jr. and her two sons: Roger Andelora and his wife Donna of Wayne, NJ, Donald Andelora and his wife Carol of Elmwood Park, NJ. She is also survived by her sister; Marion Vargo of Ridgewood, NJ and her grandchildren; Nicholas, Cristina, Gina and Elizabeth Andelora. She was predeceased by her grandson, Joseph Andelora and her brother, Leonard Tanzillo. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Monday, November 11 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, , Pompton Lakes, NJ. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Sunday, November 10 from 4-8pm.
