Obituary of Edna McBride

Edna McBride, age 80, of Hawthorne died Sunday, August 26, 2012 at home. Edna was born February 26, 1932 in Haledon, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Sidney and the late Emily (Berndt) Smith. She lived most of her life in Haledon before moving to Hawthorne in 1993. She was a member of St. Paul's Seniors and other senior groups in the area. She worked at Haband Company in Prospect Park, NJ for fifteen years and retired in 1993. She is survived by her two daughters: Terri McBride of Hawthorne, NJ and Kathi Mattei of Haledon, NJ and her two sons: Joseph McBride of Haledon, NJ and Christopher McBride of Hawthorne, NJ; her sister: Shirley Gogolen of Hamlin, PA; and her six grandchildren; Robert Mattei, Jr., Ryan Mattei, Kelsey Mattei, Sean McBride, Shannon McBride and Tyler McBride. The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, August 30 at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, August 29 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
