Obituary of Anne M. Smallheer

Anne M. Smallheer (Fischer) age 88, of Haledon, NJ died Sunday, March 2, 2008. Mrs. Smallheer was born March 19, 1919 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Friederich and the late Paula (Rhorbach) Fischer. She worked as an assembler for Curtis Wright Aeronautical during WW II and later had worked as a Floral Designer at Morningside Greenhouse, in Haledon, NJ. Mrs. Smallheer was a member of Order of The Eastern Star Little Falls Chapter, A Charter member and baseball coach of the Haledon P.A.L, Haledon Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxilliary Company No. 2, Haledon Republican Club and a school board member of The Haledon Board of Education. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard C. Smallheer and ten siblings. She is survived by two sons: Randy Smallheer of Kearney, NJ and Kim Smallheer of O'Fallon, IL, her grandchildren; Jason, Benjamin, Matthew, Julie, Randi-Lynn and Dustin Smallheer;. She is also survived by four great grandchildren. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday evening at 8:00PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. .
