Obituary of Jerry Rostello

Jerry Rostello, age 88, of Paterson, NJ died Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Mr. Rostello was born September 21, 1919 in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late Ralph and the late Rose (DeLuca) Rostello. He served in the Army during World War II and was awarded The Purple Heart. . He worked for the City Of Paterson as a Inspector for 25 years and retired in 1989. Mr. Rostello was a member of Franklin Pleasure Club and St. Gerard's R.C. Church. He is survived by his wife: Madeline (Piermatti) Rostello and two sons: Emil Rostello and his wife Judy of Wayne, NJ and Ralph Rostello and his wife Barbara of North Haledon, NJ. His Grandchildren; Lauren Heaney and her husband Jeffrey, Emil Rostello, Jr.and his wife Karen, Michael Rostello and his wife Jena and Robin Gueci and her husband Vincent. He is also survived by his great grandchildren; Benjamin Rostello, Leonardo Rostello and Vincent Gueci. He was predeceased by his sister, Josephine Gallo. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral liturgy will be Friday at 10 am at St. Gerard's R.C.. Church, Paterson, NJ. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ Memorials may be made to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
