Obituary of Rita Petkus

Rita Petkus, age 88, of Hawley PA formerly of Haledon, NJ died Monday, June 2, 2008. Mrs. Petkus was born March 7, 1920 in Wyckoff, NJ the daughter of the late Charles and the late Edith (Tucker) Dormann. She had lived in Haledon, NJ for 35 years before moving to Taveres, FL and to Hawley, PA in 2006. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter: Sandra Batte and her husband Michael of Hawley, PA and her grandchildren; Kimberly Batte and Michael Batte, Jr. and his wife Debra. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, Inc., 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
