Obituary of Claire Ann Bowman

Claire Ann Bowman (Casaletto) age 88, of Haledon died Thursday, July 17, 2008. Mrs. Bowman was born November 24, 1919 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Concetta (D'Angelo) Casaletto. She has lived in Haledon most of her life. She was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and served during WW II and the Korean War. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 30 years at North Jersey Developmental Center, Totowa, NJ and retired in 2006. Mrs. Bowman was a member of St. Gerard's R.C. Church, Paterson, NJ She is survived by one daughter: Maurya Farah of Berkley Heights, NJ, a sister; Geraldine Casaletto of Haledon, NJ and her grandchildren; Michele Farah and Amanda Farah Cox She was predeceased by her sisters; Lucille Casaletto and Cecelia Mignone and her brothers; Ralph and Rocco Casaletto. Visiting will be Sunday from 3-7 PM at DeLuccia - Lozito Funeral Home, Inc., 265 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ. The funeral will be Monday at 10:15 at St. James R.C. Church, 45 South Springfield Avenue, Springfield, NJ where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Entombment will be in Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
