Obituary of Rose M. DelVecchio

Rose M. DelVecchio, age 70, of Totowa died Friday, December 30, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital And Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. Rose was born September 29, 1941 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Rose (Aquino) DelVecchio. She lived in Haledon, NJ for many years before moving to Totowa in 2008. She was employed by the New Jersey Division Of Motor Vehicles for over 30 years where she was the Manager of the Oakland, NJ, Wyckoff, NJ, Wallington, NJ and the Rahway, NJ Agencies. She is survived by her two sons: Jason Barbier and his wife Tammy of Woodland Park, NJ and Joseph Barbier of Totowa, NJ, her sister: Theresa VanDerMeer of Wayne, NJ and her brother: Jerry DelVecchio of Barnegat, NJ. She also has two granddaughters; Carly Barbier and Amanda Barbier. She was predeceased by her brothers, John DelVecchio and Michael DelVecchio. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 5 at St. James R.C. Church, , Totowa, NJ with Monsignor Mark Giordani officiating at 9:30 AM (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Memorial visiting hours will be Wednesday, January 4 from 4 - 9 PM.
